Insert Installation
When replacing/double glazing timber windows, a cost-effective solution is to insert new PVC-U windows into the existing timber window frames. This leaves the existing timber outer frame, facings and sills in place and removes only the mullions, transoms, sashes and glass.
Insert installation is not only a simpler and more cost-effective solution for replacing/double glazing timber windows, it can also maintain the character of the house.
